Dr. Robert P. Jalleh is a highly accomplished Consultant in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, holding post-graduate surgical qualifications from prestigious institutions. With over three decades of experience, he specializes in liver, pancreas cancer surgery, and laparoscopic gall bladder removal. Dr. Jalleh served as associate professor at the University of Malaya Medical Centre and has published in high impact journals (Annals of Surgery, British Journal of Surgery, Gut). He is one of a few Malaysian International Guest Scholars of the American College of Surgeons. He’s actively contributed to the medical community and conducts surgeries at Alpha Specialist Centre and Sunway Medical Centre.
Dr. Jalleh is a graduate of the University of Malaya and has undertaken extensive surgical training at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Wales and the Hammersmith Hospital, London. He has more than 20 years’ experience in General Surgery as well as subspeciality work in liver and pancreas cancer surgery, and laparoscopic gall bladder removal. He has published extensively in these fields. Dr Jalleh was senior consultant and associate professor at the University of Malaya Medical Centre (formerly known as University Hospital Kuala Lumpur) before going into private practice. In 1994, he was conferred the International Guest Scholar Award by the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Robert Jalleh was on the Hepatobiliary Speciality Subcommittee of the National Specialist Register of Malaysia.
He has served as Examiner for the Board of Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) Surgery, Ministry of Health Malaysia and College of Surgeons, Academy of Medicine Malaysia
